Tips
- Don't wash the vegetables after cutting as it will wash away the nutrients too.
- While cooking the vegetables, add a pinch of turmeric powder as it will remove the toxic elements present in the ingredients.
- To retain the freshness of vegetables, add a little amount of vinegar in water in which they are washed.
- If salt is excess in a curry, mix a little amount of wheat flour & water and make balls out of it. Put these into the curry as they will absorb the excess salt in it.
- When oil gets over heated in a pan, soon the pan will catch fire. If it happens, cover the pan using a suitable lid. Don't pour water over the oil.
- While cooking in aluminium utensil, never use a metal ladle to stir as chemical reaction occurs. Always use a wooden one.
- Before boiling milk, wash the utensil with cold water. Then the milk will get easily boiled.
- For boiling egg, put the egg in water only after the water gets boiled. If not, the egg shell will break.
- Place cooker weight over the cooker only after making sure that there is no block for the steam to come out. Otherwise, there is a chance to explode the cooker.

- For easy peeling of onion, spread oil over its surface and keep under sunlight for sometime.
- For chappathis to be softer, add a little amount of milk or curd while preparing the batter.
- For frying egg, spread vinegar on the surface of the frying pan to avoid sticking.
