Veg Cutlet

Ingredients:

Onion - 2 medium(finely sliced)
Green chili - 2(chopped)
Ginger - 1/2 tsp(chopped)
Garlic - 1/2 tsp(chopped)
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Fennel powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 3/4 tsp
Boiled & smashed potato - 1 cup
Green peas - 2 tbsp
Grated carrot - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - few(chopped)
Maida - 2 tbsp
Bread crumbs - 1 cup
Curry leaves - few
Oil
Salt

Instructions to prepare:

Heat oil in a wok. Saute the sliced onion till it becomes brownish. Then add the chopped ginger, garlic, green chilies & curry leaves. Let it cook for few minutes. Add all the powders, chopped coriander leaves and a pinch of salt and mix well. Add the green peas & grated carrot to it under low flame. Mix well and cook till the vegetables become soft.
Add the smashed potatoes and mix well. Remove from flame and let the mixture cool.
Take a hand full mixture out of it & shape according to the requirement.
Take maida in a bowl and add a little amount of water so that it becomes a batter. Dip the shaped cutlet mixture into this batter and roll it over the bread crumbs.
Heat oil in a pan and fry these cutlets. Flip the sides when one side is done.
Serve with tomato ketchup.
