Ingredients:
Chicken - 1 kg(medium sized pieces)
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Onion - 2 large(sliced)
Ginger garlic paste - 3 tsp
Green chilies - 2 (slit lengthwise)
Crushed Pepper - 2 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Fennel powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Soya sauce - 1 tsp
Tomato sauce - 2 tsp
Curry leaves
Cooking oil
Salt
Instructions to prepare:
Marinate the chicken pieces with pepper powder, lemon juice and salt. Heat oil in a pan and add sliced onion. Saute till it becomes golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste, green chilies and curry leaves. Cook for a few minutes.
Add crushed pepper, turmeric powder, garam masala and fennel powder. Mix well and let it cook. Add 1/2 cup water and salt and stir well. Add the chicken pieces. Mix well the chicken pieces and the masala. When chicken gets cooked, add 1/2 cup water. Cover and cook the chicken under reduced flame. Give a stir in between and add enough water if required. Open it and add curry leaves.
Cook furthermore for few minutes under low flame.
Remove from flame.
