Ingredients:
Chicken - 500 g(small pieces)
Onion - 3(chopped)
Tomato - 2(chopped)
Green chilies - 2(slit lengthwise)
Curry leaves - few
Coriander leaves - few(chopped)
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chili powder - 3 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Coconut oil
Salt
Instructions to prepare:
Marinate the cleaned chicken pieces with chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, 1/4 tsp garam masala and salt. Set it aside for an hour.
Heat oil in a pan & shallow fry these chicken pieces. When it becomes a reddish colour, transfer it to plate.
In the same oil, saute chopped onion. When it becomes transparent, Add the chopped tomatoes. Saute until it is mashed well. Add pepper powder and 1/4 tsp garam masala powder. Put the fried chicken pieces over this masala & mix well. Add salt as required.
Cover & cook the chicken for sometime under low flame. Check in between & give a stir to prevent from sticking at the bottom of the pan.
When the masala gets completely combined with the chicken, add green chilies, curry leaves & coriander leaves.
