Custard Halwa


Ingredients:

Custard powder - 1 cup
Sugar - 3 cups
Water - 4 cups
Ghee - 5 tsp
Cashew Nuts - few chopped
Raisins - few

Instructions to prepare:

In a wok, mix the custard powder, water and sugar well without any lump formation. Keep it over a high flame. Start cooking with constant stirring.
After a while, the mixture will begin to boil and gets thickened. Add 5 tsp of ghee batchwise while stirring over medium flame. Add cashew nuts & raisins. This moment, the mixture will become a bit transparent & jelly-like.
Keep on stirring for few more minutes till it gets even more thick and starts to pull away from the edges of the pan.
Spread ghee all over a plate in which the halwa has to be poured.
Transfer the halwa mixture to this plate and level the top.
Keep it aside for cooling.
                         
Once it is cooled, cut into pieces of required size and serve.
