Chakka Vilayichathu

Ingredients:

Ripe Jack fruit fleshy pieces - 15(sliced)
Jaggery - 250 g
Powdered Cardamom - 5
Parboiled Rice(puzhungalari) - 1/2 cup
Water - 1/4 cup

Instructions to prepare:

Fry the rice alone in a pan and make it powdered. Set it aside.
Heat 1/4 cup water in a pan and add jaggery to it. Let it melt completely giving a stir in between. Add the sliced jack fruit pieces to it and stir well over a low flame. Then add powdered cardamom and powdered rice to it. Combine everything well and remove from flame.
Set it aside for cooling and serve.
